Carolyn Sechler - Fully Wired to Serve the Nonprofit Community

I've known Carolyn Sechler for so many years I don't remember when we met. But, I do remember how we met - we were both attending a professional meeting. I was dressed in a suit. She had on overalls. That was my first clue this was someone I wanted to know.

What I have come to know about Carolyn is that she is a visionary, a rebel, a consummate professional, and a soulful friend.

Professionally, Carolyn Sechler, CPA, is the big honcho of the firm of Sechler CPA PC in Phoenix, Ariz. Her expertise is in tax and strategic planning, financial reporting, and management consulting, primarily to nonprofit organizations and technology entrepreneurs.  She has been serving clients in this capacity for about 20 years.

There is plenty of stuff to learn about her, including all of her accolades, of which there are many, and the fact that her company is totally virtual. She calls herself the air traffic controller of the 17 team members who are part of her organization.

"I want to give back to the community, to make a difference," says Carolyn. "I am not motivated by money. I love to put people together and seed new ideas. I love the variety and the challenge of working in 300 different environments and helping people leverage the power of technology to create new possibilities."

True to form, Carolyn wanted to acknowledge one of the nonprofits she serves - Unlimited Potential. Unlimited Potential is a grassroots non-profit agency primarily serving parents in the Roosevelt School District attendance area. The organization focuses on providing literacy and other educational support services for women, children and families to help them become productive, valuable citizens in the community. The organization seeks to remove barriers and level the playing field so these individuals have the chance to bring their gifts to the community. For more information on Unlimited Potential, click here.

I wanted to focus on Carolyn because she is such a gift to our community. She has a heart for service. I love her spirit. Thank you, Carolyn! For more information on Sechler CPA PC, click here.
